Situation
A leading landscaping organization in the Chicago metro area faced a critical seasonal hiring challenge. With peak demand in the spring months, the company needed to hire 215 seasonal associates annually for roles in Maintenance, Construction, and Landscaping. Although they retained 80–90% of their workforce from the previous year, they still needed to supplement staffing with new hires. Recruitment needed to begin in February, with all hires completed by April. The newly hired Director of HR reached out to EG for support.
Solution
To meet the company’s goals, EG implemented a high-touch, community-focused hiring strategy:
