National recognition highlights leadership, innovation, and impact in workforce solutions
Grand Rapids, MI (June 2, 2026)

EG (Employment Group) is pleased to announce that President Erika Scanlin has been named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ (SIA) prestigious 2026 40 Under 40 list, recognizing emerging leaders who are shaping the future of the staffing and workforce solutions industry.
The annual list honors professionals whose leadership, innovation, and measurable impact have advanced their organizations, strengthened their communities, and influenced the broader world of work.
Since becoming President, Scanlin has led EG through a period of strategic growth and transformation, including new business acquisitions, a company rebrand, and the continued expansion of the organization’s talent strategy and workforce solutions offerings. Under her leadership, EG has strengthened its position as a modern workforce partner focused on helping organizations attract, retain, and develop talent in an increasingly complex labor market.
“This recognition is deeply meaningful because it reflects the incredible people I have the opportunity to work alongside every day,” said Scanlin. “At EG, we believe workforce solutions should create real impact—for our clients, our communities, and the individuals whose lives are changed through meaningful work. I’m honored to be recognized by SIA and excited about the future of our industry.”
Scanlin brings more than a decade of experience in talent strategy, organizational transformation, and workforce optimization. Prior to joining EG, she spent twelve years at Accenture, where she served as a Talent & Organization Managing Director, helping global organizations transform workforce strategies to drive business performance and long-term growth.
Over the past year, Scanlin has championed several initiatives designed to modernize and strengthen EG’s service offerings, including the implementation of SourceSmart, a flexible, tech-enabled sourcing solution; the expansion of the company’s Talent Strategy capabilities through science-based assessment and leadership development tools; and continued investment in EG’s Executive Search practice, helping organizations identify and align leadership talent for long-term growth and organizational performance.
“Erika represents the future of leadership in our industry,” said Mark Lancaster, CEO of EG. “She combines strategic vision with genuine care for people, and that balance has helped accelerate growth across our business while reinforcing our commitment to helping people succeed. This recognition from SIA is incredibly well deserved.”
The honor adds to a growing list of recognitions for Scanlin, including being named to Crain’s Grand Rapids Business 40 Under 40 in 2025, receiving the RPOA Rising Women in Talent Acquisition award, and being invited to join the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) West Michigan chapter.
Honorees will be featured in the July/August 2026 issue of Staffing Industry Review magazine and recognized during SIA’s CollaborationX conference later this year.
